Women's Circles - general information

Involvement in circle life can help a woman’s personal Christian faith to grow and be nurtured as women share with and pray for one another. Members must be willing to participate in prayer, study, and service and learn how to be accepting and forgiving of each other. Members of circles become a part of a small group in which they can be strengthened and supported in their needs, concerns, joys and sorrows.

CIRCLE 1: FAITH

Circle One will be having virtual meetings until further notice. Fall meetings will be the First Sunday of the month from 4-5pm and the third Wednesday of the month from 7-8 pm. These will start Wednesday September 16th. Please contact Maggie Knowles for more information at mknowles3@gmail.com.

CIRCLE 2: RUTH

Schedule: 2nd Mondays, 9:30AM for fellowship and light refreshments. The meeting begins at 10 AM.

Circle 2 will be studying the Horizons Bible Study, Who Is Jesus. We have a Christmas luncheon and bring gifts to benefit one of our missions such as Thornwell Home for Children, the Women's Shelter, and other progects. We also have a salad luncheon in May to conclude our regular meetings. During the summer we meet socially, usually for lunch. Come join us and truly experience Circle 2, a group of caring and supportive women of all ages.
CIRCLE 3: NAOMI

Schedule: 1st Monday of the Month, 5:30-6:30pm

This year we will study Horizons Bible Study, Who is Jesus. By nurturing our faith through prayer and Bible study, we grow in the knowledge of Christ and become closer to Him. Our mission efforts include the Christmas stockings, Valentine Day boxes for our college freshmen, the USC Presbyterian Student Center, and the Children’s Garden. We enjoy a salad/dessert dinner in December and May to celebrate our year. We would love to have you join us.
CIRCLE 4: GRACE

Schedule: 3rd Tuesdays, 6:30pm

Our meetings begin with refreshments made by Janice Love, and a brief business meeting follows. Members are asked to make a small pledge to PW to support our benevolences and programs for the year. This year we will read the lesson together and discuss its meaning. The meetings last an hour. In December and May, the group enjoys a salad supper. The Circle participates in several PW mission projects during the year. All are invited to join this group of caring, supportive women.
